Meet Kirsten, Freelance Graphic Designer
Incline Design was founded by me, Creative Director Kirsten Rabe (Graphic Design - Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology) in 1991. After working for a number of design agencies in Christchurch, New Zealand, I decided to set up my own business so I could manage my own workload and - ultimately - spend more time outdoors!
I’m keen on kite-surfing, surfing, tramping, sailing, cycling, hiking, and snowboarding steep and deep - hence the name Incline Design. When not at my computer, I love getting my hands dirty in the soil: planting native trees at Lake Hāwea Station, New Zealand’s first Carbon Zero farm; or helping out with the grape harvest on local vineyard Māori Point. A keen photographer, I’m often found out and about, capturing beautiful images of New Zealand landscapes and wildlife.
